My PDF Forms Aren't Saving

If your PDF forms aren’t saving, you may need to install Adobe Reader or update your browser settings to ensure proper functionality. Since SignTracker forms are in Adobe PDF format, using Adobe Reader is required for editing and saving forms.

Step 1: Install or Update Adobe Reader

• Adobe Reader is free and can be downloaded from the link at the top of the Forms section in SignTracker.
• Make sure you are using the latest version of Adobe Reader to avoid compatibility issues.

Step 2: Change Browser Settings to Open PDFs in Adobe Reader

• Most browsers do not fully support PDF form submission, which may prevent saving.
• To ensure PDFs open in Adobe Reader instead of the browser, update your browser settings.

How to Change the Default PDF Viewer on Mac & Windows

If you want PDF files to open in Adobe Reader instead of your browser or another application, follow these steps:

For Windows:

1. Right-click on any PDF file.
2. Select "Open with" > "Choose another app."
3. Choose Adobe Acrobat Reader from the list.
4. Check the box "Always use this app to open .pdf files."
5. Click OK to save the changes.

For Mac:

1. Right-click (or Control + click) on a PDF file.
2. Select "Get Info."
3. In the "Open with" section, select Adobe Acrobat Reader from the dropdown menu.
4. Click "Change All" to apply the setting to all PDF files.
5. Confirm the change when prompted.

Step 3: Editing and Saving PDFs in SignTracker

• If you prefer to edit and download PDFs in your browser, ensure you manually save the file to your computer before uploading it back into SignTracker.
